hi, I’m Kési.
pronounced “Casey,” not “Kessie”
TL;DR: I’m a writer – a role that manifests through journalism, integrated marketing communications, and creative writing. Through storytelling, I aim to leverage multimedia platforms to tell impactful stories that translate to lasting communities in real life.
I currently work as the Marketing & Development Coordinator at MissionWired, supporting the integrated, full-service direct marketing agency in its marketing and business development efforts through content development and process management.
In 2023, I self-published my debut book, ‘The Morning Always Comes – reflections on being and becoming’ – a collection of personal essays on identity and coming of age through the lens of a young Black, neurodivergent woman from the South.
I'm also the founder and publisher of Better to Speak, an award-nominated movement media platform for young and emerging Black storytellers.
Resumes and bios don’t always tell a person’s full story, check out my portfolio here.
