SELF-PUBLISHED DEBUT BOOK NOW AVAILABLE
My self-published debut book, The Morning Always Comes – reflections on being and becoming, is now available to order!
The Morning Always Comes – reflections on being and becoming is a collection of personal essays on identity and coming of age through the lens of a young Black, neurodivergent woman from the South.
Through a series of reflections framed by the Hero's Journey and Greek mythology, contextualized by psychology and sociology concepts, yet firmly grounded in Black American cultural narratives; The Morning Always Comes serves as Felton's public debut as well as her personal magnum opus and "coming-of-age" narrative.
