Christina “Chris Miss” Bright, blogger, digital strategist, and participant in the Walker’s Legacy Foundation Mom’s Who Hustle Newark program, made a cameo appearance in episode one of Spike Lee’s Netflix reboot of She’s Gotta Have It. Bright participated in the Foundation’s flagship program to provide entrepreneurship and financial literacy training to enterprising single mothers of color.
Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Bright utilizes Instagram and Youtube to promote the importance of self-confidence and openly share her love for her son, inner beauty, fashion, cooking, and people to inspire others to unapologetically do the things they love. She believes that everyone has a purpose, and only by doing the work within themselves will they be able to find and fulfill that purpose.
Her entrepreneurial venture, Everyday is ChrisMiss, organizes and executes a number of charitable events in the Newark local community to spread her message. Check out Bright’s cameo in episode 1 of She’s Gotta Have It, now streaming on Netflix.
